Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on state revenues that were $12.6 million below projections for October and $6.7 million below estimates for the for the first four months of the budget year, largely due to lower than expected corporate income tax revenue. Finance Commissioner Sawin Millett said the situation is not quite as serious as it appears because 2011 year-to-date overall revenues are $11.6 million better than the same period last year.
