Abstract
The Maine State Employees Association (MSEA) filed an amended complaint on August 27 against Gov. LePage after their original complaint, filed in February, was dismissed by the Maine Labor Relations Board. MSEA alleges that the state, in reorganizing and contracting out work performed by unionized state employees without bargaining, is violating terms of the labor contract that expired last September. The state counters that it has the right to restructure jobs or subcontract work.
