Abstract

"Focus Law" piece on the firm Custom Counsel LLC, a new legal temp agency founded by Nicole Bradick. The trend towards the increasing use of contract lawyers allows firms to lower costs and respond quickly to situations that require extra capacity. In turn, it provides opportunities for freelancing attorneys to achieve a work-life balance that can be hard to find in a full-time law firm job. Bradick is the first person in Maine to launch such a venture.
