Abstract

Piece that profiles the successes and continuing challenges faced by the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority as it works to attract businesses and residents to the former Brunswick Naval Air Station, now known as Brunswick Landing. With 22 business tenants at the former base, the opening of a satellite campus of Southern Maine Community College, and the near-completion of the new M÷lnlycke Health Care facility, the redevelopment effort is off to a promising start, although the sluggish economy will continue to be a challenge.
