“The List” of Maine’s acute care hospitals, ranked by number of licensed acute care beds as of March 2014. The four largest out of the eight listed are, in descending order: Maine Medical Center, Portland; Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor; Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston; and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Lewiston.
