Abstract

Ocean Renewable Power Company is opening an office in County Donegal Ireland after Irish officials expressed interest in ORPC’s hydrokinetic tidal energy project that delivers electricity to a utility grid in the Americas. There are many similarities between County Donegal and Washington County and both face similar challenges and opportunities, so it is believed the same goal of delivering this renewable energy source to rural areas in their country should be successful.
