Abstract

The branding initiative, "America's Crown Jewel," for the Moosehead Lakes region was launched in the spring of 2015. It is backed by the grassroots organization, Moosehead Lake Region Development Corp. While the region has many spectacular venues in which people can recreate, many of the locations are hidden and hard to find. That is hoped to change when "wayfinding" signage designed by Axia Creative is to be installed.The overall plan is not only to attract tourists to the area, but also year around residents, all of which will help revitalize the region's economy.
