A list of Maine's largest private employers ranked by average monthly employment range in 2015 is presented. Number of employees in Maine, principal locations in Maine and industry type are given. Ranked in descending order are Hannaford Bros. Co., Maine Medical Center, Wal-Mart Stores Inc./Sam/s Club, L.L. Bean Inc., Bath Iron Works Corp., Eastern Maine Medical Center, Central Maine Healthcare Corp., MaineGeneral Medical Center, TD Bank NA, and Unum Provident.
