Abstract
The Maine Harvest Credit Project is in the midst of raising funds to become the state's 59th credit union. Its purpose is to support lending to the food/ag/fisheries/forest businesses throughout Maine. Once the credit union is granted, it will be a nonprofit and will offer three loan products, for equipment; buildings, expansions and upgrades; and land loans. Details of the project are provided.
