Abstract
A list of fourteen of Maine's latest and largest green buildings, ranked by LEED certification and gross square footage, is presented. Ranked in descending order are Greenward Hamlet co-housing community (Buxton), Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building and Courthouse (Bangor), 184 Pearl Street (Portland), Brookside Village Housing for the Elderly (Farmington), Alfond Center for Health (Augusta), Idexx office building (Westbrook), Miller Library (Colby College, Waterville), Hampton Inn (Lewiston), Davis Science Center (Colby College, Waterville), Building 55 (Kittery), Roberts Residence Hall (Colby College, Waterville), Drummond adn Piper dormitories (Colby College, Waterville), Stevens Home Dormitory (Bowdoin College, Brunswick), and City of Bangor Fire Station (Bangor). Included is gross square footage, street address and registration/certification date.
