Abstract
Overview of Maine's craft beer scene and how it has evolved over the past 25 years, from D.L. Geary which was the first brewer to open east of the Mississippi since Prohibition and which poured its first beer in 1986 to today, when Maine's 144 breweries employ about 1,910 people and added $260 million to its economy in 2017.
