Abstract

Part of the focus series, "Opening Doors for Startups." Fork Food Lab in Portland's Bayside neighborhood is a shared commercial kitchen and business incubator, and currently home to 45 food-related businesses. The new owner, The Sustainability Lab of Yarmouth, is seeking a bigger space and a way to raise $150,000 to cover a loss. 60% of Fork Lab's businesses are woman-owned; 10% are owned by immigrants or people of color.
