Abstract
Maine's $7 billion restaurant, bar, and lodging industry has been hard hit by the pandemic shutdowns. This article looks at how three restaurants have adapted: Sur Lie in Portland has been offering takeout and farmer's baskets. Bar Harbor's Natalie's Restaurant has been shooting humorous short videos about social distancing mishaps and sharing with customers via social media. David Turin, with three restaurants in the greater Portland area, has also turned to takeout out of one of his restaurants.
