Abstract

Interview with Adria Horn, a vice president at Tilson, a network deployment and IT professional services firm based in Portland. Horn discusses the challenges of hiring and onboarding new employees during a pandemic, the importance of interns, and the impact of Tilson making all their summer internships virtual in 2020. Horn, an Army veteran and former director of the Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services, also discusses Tilson's participation in SkillBridge, a Department of Defense internship program for active-duty service members close to their separation from the military.
