Abstract

An overview of projects and programs of interest in Northern Maine, including: Husson University's construction of a new College of Business building and its plans for welcoming students back to a mix of online and in-person classes; Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center's new RN Sponsorship Program which aims to attract new nurses by offering benefits and mentors in exchange for graduates agreeing to work in the Bangor hospital for five years after graduation; a spurt of new businesses and expanding businesses in central Aroostook County; and an update on northern MDOT projects, including the $45M bridge renovation in Hampden.
