Abstract

Maine's hospitals and other health care providers have worked with the business community to disseminate information and create guidelines that will balance public health needs with the needs of the business and the customers. Northern Light Health, for instance, has been hosting a weekly series of Zoom webinars covering topics such as face coverings and screenings for employees. Mount Desert Island Hospital staff participated on a task force intended to help seasonal businesses operate safely. Health care workers stress that businesses need to plan for future uncertainty, given the changing nature of the virus.
