Abstract

"this just in" piece on the recently passed federal appropriations bill containing about $500,000 for the Casco Bay Estuary Project (CBEP), which has been working for the past 10 years to mitigate pollution and restore the bay's watershed. Karen Young, CBEP director, said the group has helped organize the Interlocal Stormwater Working Group, that will work with local municipalities on stormwater problems.
