Abstract

"This Just In" piece on WGME Channel 13 in Portland, reporting that the back-of-the-house union has been trying to get back to the bargaining table to negotiate a contract since summertime. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1837, which represents about 50 photographers, technicians, and producers, has been without a contact since December of 2004, and has not had a pay increase in two years. Union members demonstrated last week near the station office in Portland.
