Abstract
"This Just In" piece on the Maine Center for Food Sovereignty, which organizers envision as a hub for activism and education promoting a sustainable local food economy. The center is currently under construction in Thorndike. GE Free Maine, a nonprofit coalition organizing against genetically engineered food, is one of the three groups working on the center.
