Those included are as follows: John Travolta, of Islesboro; Eva Holmes, of the University of Southern Maine, passed over for the Brown Medal at Portland High School; U.S. senator Olympia Snowe, of Falmouth Foreside, who frequently votes against party lines; Elizabeth Noyce, philanthropist; Clair Sabattis, who has thrice been elected chief three times of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians; Leonard and Mary Jane Cummings, publishers of The Bridge newsletter; Lesya Stasiv, female champion tennis player from the Western Ukraine, who now plays for the University of Southern Maine men's team; state senator Dale McCormick of Hallowell; and Gov.
