Abstract

Article reporting that the work of Maine Catholic missionaries in Haiti has been made more difficult because of the political difficulties and the embargo, but that they are determined to hang on. The head of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in Haiti is Rev. Roger Hallee of Waterville, who has worked in Haiti for 29 years and supervises 96 Oblate missionaries and 21 parishes. Lists Maine missionaries serving in the country.
