Abstract

Mac the Moose, a mascot for the Maine Division of the American Cancer Society, traveled to all of Portland's Headstart classrooms this week to urge the children not to smoke. The campaign is targeting pre-schoolers from low-income families because unemployment and lower incomes have long been associated with smoking in Maine. Details.
