Abstract

Shop 'n Save has begun allowing shoppers to use Visa, Mastercard or Discover Card at its supermarkets in southern Maine and other locations in the Northeast. A spokesman for the company said that credit cards simplify customers' record-keeping, and the transactions won't bounce like some checks.
