Abstract

Residents of the Small's Brook Crossing subdivision in Cumberland have petitioned the Maine Department of Transportation to stop the trains that cross Tuttle Road from sounding the whistle, at least in the middle of the night. State rules require a train's engineer to sound the whistle numerous times prior to and when crossing a road. Details.
