Abstract

Guy Gannett Publishing Company has lost its appeal for a $48,000 abatement on its 1992-93 taxes on its South Portland printing and distribution building. The city had assessed the building at $9 million, a figure the company claims is about $1.7 million too high. Gannett plans to appeal to the state Board of Property Tax Review.
