Abstract

Jonathan M. Johnson, 22, of Jay, suspected of trying to kill his father in a car-bomb attempt, is now free on $10,000 bail provided by his parents. District Attorney Janet Mills and the defendant's attorney and parents are concerned because, as a condition of the bail, Justice Stephen L. Perkins barred Johnson from contact with his parents. He is now free, without supervision, despite a history of erratic behaviour.
