Abstract

Regional Waste Systems Inc. (RWS) plans to appeal an October ruling by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court which says that RWS must justify local ordinances requiring all trash from member communities be sent to an incinerator in Portland. The ruling came out of a suit filed by Tri-State Rubbish Inc. against the town of Gray over the town's flow-control ordinance. Details.
