Abstract

World AIDS Day was observed in numerous ways throughout Portland, from the unveiling of an AIDS Awareness stamp at the Portland Museum of Art to the introduction of additions to the AIDS Memorial Quilt at the YWCA. Some 13 million people worldwide have been afflicted with the disease, one million of them children. Details.
