Abstract

On Tuesday night five Asian males walked into an East End apartment, tied up an Asian woman and her 17-year-old son and proceeded to threaten the two until they revealed the location of valuables within the home. The incident was unusual in that the crime was reported to the authorities. Historically, Asian immigrants have distrusted police and usually have their own ways of dealing with crime within the refugee community. Details.
