Abstract
The York and Cumberland county commissioners have proposed eliminating funding for the Saco River Corridor Commission, which just this year saw the Legislature cut off all money to the regulatory agency. The commission was created by the Legislature 20 years ago for the purpose of assessing the environmental risks of all development in the corridor, and is due for state reauthorization in 1995.
