Abstract

Five employees of Bath Iron Works have been in Helsinki, Finland, since November 13 visiting Europe's largest shipyard, the Kvaerner Masa-Yards. The group has been observing the management, engineering and materials departments to look for ways to become more competitive in building commercial vessels.
