Abstract

A study by private consultant William B. McClaran says consolidating the Cumberland and Falmouth police departments could save as much as $120,000 annually and would improve services. Cumberland, with 5,800 residents, normally has nine police officers, while Falmouth has 12 officers for its 7,700 residents. Details.
