Abstract

An official with the Maine State Planning Office, which will administer the Clinton administration's new national service program in the state, expects Maine will only receive enough money under the program to put 30 students to work in 1994. Under AmeriCorps, as the program is called, Maine will receive an estimated $380,000, and will be expected to contribute 15 percent, or around $22,000, toward administrative costs. Details.
