Abstract

Central Maine Power Co. has tentatively agreed to build fish passages along the Saco River, which would allow the migration of fish, and to maintain the river at its current level. The agreement, if finalized, largely concerns the Springs Island and Bradbury dams in the Saco-Biddeford area, and comes after four months of negotiations between the utility, environmental groups and officials from the two cities.
