Abstract

The American Institute of Architects has chosen the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts on Deer Isle to receive its 1994 Twenty-Five Year Award. The award is given each year to a significant building project between 25 and 35 years old. New York City architect Edward Larrabee Barnes designed the Haystack facilities, which were constructed in 1962. Details.
