Peoples Heritage Savings Bank has filed suit in Cumberland County Superior Court seeking repayment of $2.8 million in outstanding debt from the Channel Crossing restaurant in South Portland. The restaurant is owned by partners William Barthelman, John L. Stiles and Richard Grotton, who are trying to sell the Channel Crossing restaurant and attached marina. Details.
