Abstract

Brief article reporting that Smith & Wesson is considering expanding its 20,000-square-foot Houlton facility by as much as 16,000 square feet, which could result in an additional 40 jobs. The expansion will allow the Houlton facility to become the single source for the gunmaker's .22-caliber pistols.
