Abstract

Officials with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection say ABB Environmental Services Inc. of Portland intentionally withheld information about a hazardous waste site at the Brunswick Naval Air Station. ABB conducted an environmental survey of sites at BNAS for the Navy, and a report submitted by the company to the DEP and the federal Environmental Protection Agency contained a photocopy of an altered field log.
