Abstract

Leon Planche, who was fired from his post as chief of police of Cumberland for allegedly drinking on duty, is seeking reinstatement and back pay in a case that goes before Judge Kermit V. Lipez today. Planche claims that Cumberland Town Manager Robert Benson was biased against him because of a pending Maine Human Rights Commission complaint Planche had filed against Benson. Details.
