Abstract

Richard C. McDonald of the Aquarium Development Corp. on Tuesday said the group could decide today whether to abandon plans to try and build an aquarium on Portland's waterfront. The Portland City Council's refusal to contribute $10,000 to an aquarium feasibility study would make it very difficult to raise the other $190,000 needed for the study, according to the group.
