Abstract
The Marsville project, developed by NASA to help teach youngsters about science, on Tuesday had 175 Scarborough middle school students erecting simulated Mars habitats at the Gorham campus of the University of Southern Maine. The exercise, the culmination of a six-week unit on astronomy, teaches children not only science and math but also cooperation and problem solving. Details.
