Abstract

Despite a lack of support from the Portland City Council, the Aquarium Development Corp. on Wednesday decided to go forward with plans to build a $35 million aquarium on the city's waterfront. The city council on Monday refused an Aquarium Development Corp. request for a financial contribution toward the cost of a feasibility study for the proposed aquarium. Details.
