Abstract

An official with the Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations has announced that electronic validation machines are being installed at 1,600 lottery ticket outlets statewide. The machines, which protect against fraud and give immediate reports on sales, credits and debits, will save the state $900,000 annually.
