Abstract

South Portland has sent out a team of students from the Southern Maine Technical College to go from door-to-door to determine where stormwater from homes and businesses is getting into the sewer system. The stormwater surges overwhelm the city's collection systems and cause sewage to overflow into Casco Bay. Details.
