Abstract

The state Board of Property Tax Review yesterday ruled that Bath Iron Work's land, buildings and equipment are worth $107.7 million, or about half the amount of the city of Bath's assessment. The ruling means the city will have to refund around $2.15 million in 1991 taxes and interest, which is more than 10 percent of this year's municipal budget. Details.
