Abstract
The suicide of 14-year-old James Pickard and the ensuing comments of Penobscot County Chief Deputy Carl Andrews has intensified a debate in East Corinth over the role of Central High School teachers in occult-related activities. Pickard played the game Dungeons and Dragons, and information provided to Andrews indicated that some teachers at the school dabbled in the occult, both of which concerned parents and had them wondering to what extent the school encouraged students to get involved in occult activites.
