Abstract

The Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle, which opened two months ago, was designed in part with Canadian shoppers in mind. The dependence on cross-border shopping means the mall's management and individual stores will have to confront trade barriers, language problems, exchange rates and other issues most mall operators don't have to consider.
