The Maine Supreme Judicial Court yesterday ordered Springfield Railway Terminal to pay workers at union wage during a 10-day training period. The ruling stems from the 1987 buyout of Maine Central by Guilford Transportation Industries of Billerica, Mass., parent of Springfield Terminal, and involved five workers at Maine Central's Rigby Yard in South Portland.
