Abstract

"Pulse" article reporting that Eastland Woolen Mills/Striar Textile Mill will give its 350 employees a 5 percent pay increase effective January 3. Eastland closed its doors in October 1992, and was able to reopen the following February due to a $4 million direct loan from the Finance Authority of Maine.
