Abstract

Jack Schraeter, owner of Lake Medical Associates in Standish, tomorrow will head for the Ukraine with more than $20,000 worth of children's medicine, most of it pediatric antibiotics. The drugs are a gift from the Rotary Club of Windham to the Rotary Club of Lvov, Ukraine, and the trip is significant for Schraeter because some members of his family were killed during the Nazi slaughter of the Jewish populace of the Ukraine in World War II.
